Emili Prado is a Service Referral Coordinator at La Colmena. She helps guide her community through the complex networks of city agencies and government programs. With her growing knowledge she helps connect her community to resources that aid those experiencing wage theft, workers compensation, and domestic violence. As a DACA recipient herself, she knows first-hand how difficult it is for the immigrant community to obtain proper resources due to language barriers or lack of education. She is committed to serving the community through La Colmena. In her free time, Emili, enjoys experiencing new cuisine choices throughout New York City and in between she solves various puzzles.
